John
Fulton (Plumbers) Ltd was formed in 1973
by David White, Chartered Surveyor, to provide a plumbing service
for the Glasgow area. Since then the company has diversified
into roofing specialising in leadwork, and more recently into
hard metals including copper, zinc, aluminium and stainless steel
as well as traditional tiling and slating.
Despite the afore mentioned diversification, the original core
business of plumbing is still very much at the forefront of the
business and is CORGI registered, webmaster@corgi-group.com .
With the specialisation in lead and hard metals, the original
trading boundaries have expanded with the company completing
contracts from as far North as Shetland and Aberdeen to Dumfries
in the South.
The company policy has always been to train apprentices, with
our supervisors having served their time as plumbers with the
company. This policy has enabled the company to expand
its workforce to its present size of some 40 employees. |
