We are approved lead installers and have been members of the Lead Contractors Association (LCA) since 1984 allowing us to offer a 25-year insurance backed guarantee on our leadwork both domestic and commercial leadwork. As members of the LCA, we are continuously vetted by an independent assessor who ensures our high quality standards in working with lead sheet are maintained. This is the only recognised guarantee scheme for leadwork in the UK.

All our tradesmen benefit from the highest standard of training either via the lead sheet association or through our internal training programme.

At John Fultons we have been successful in winning the industry recognised Murdoch Award (for the best lead installation in the UK) on three occasions and have been runners up on several other occasions. The company was successful in winning the Murdoch award for ; Cloncaird Castle Ayrshire 2006, Elderpark Library Govan 2009 and Water Row Govan 2014.

Leadwork surveys

We carry out detailed surveys of buildings for clients highlighting the condition of the leadwork, the costs to renew it alongside any necessary redesign to conform with the Lead Sheet Association Guidelines. A recent development has been the increasing number of CPDs that we are presenting on behalf of various bodies (NFRC & LCA).
